    UOS Liberty goes to work

    Vessel & ROV News // August 12, 2010

Seabrokers reports that the seventh vessel in a series of 12 MOSS 424h anchor handlers, UOS Liberty, recently underwent a number of modifications in The Netherlands prior to joining the North Sea spot market.

In November the vessel will mobilise to Brazil to commence a nine month contract with Rio-based Starfish Oil and Gas.

Liberty was closely followed by UOS Freedom which left Fincantieri shipyard in Italy in mid-July and is currently working the spot market in the Mediterranean.

"Making it three deliveries from Fincatieri in one month, UOS Enterprise was handed over to owners at the end of July joining the Freedom on the Mediterranean spot market," Seabrokers reported.

During the third quarter of 2010 the final three sister vessels, UOS Navigator, UOS Pathfinder and UOS Voyager are due to join the fleet.

Navigator, like Liberty, has secured a nine month contract with Starfish Oil and Gas in Brazil commencing in the fourth quarter.
