Seabrokers reports that after a seven year absence from commercial shipowning south of England based Atlantic Marine has re-entered the offshore market with the 55m offshore support vessel and hydrographic survey ship Atlantic Guardian, formerly
North Starís Grampian Guardian.
The vessel is highly manouverable with twin screw and bow thruster configuration has an ample clear deck area of 150m2 and accommodation for up to 30 surveyors/passengers.
Seabrokers said that Atlantic Marine has indicated that this is the first vessel of a new offshore fleet the company intends to develop.
