    Normand Cutter - conversion status

    Yard News // April 29, 2004
The conversion of the cable layer Normand Cutter at Ulstein Verft in Norway is approaching its completion, says owner Solstad.

The company said what it called "a tremendous amount of work" has been completed on a very tight schedule.

The vessel is now afloat again and is due to commence trials shortly.

From being a first class cable ship, the ship has been turned into a first class construction vessel.
