Subocean won the 'Best Company' accolade at last month’s Renewable Energy Association’s (REA) British Renewable Energy Awards.
The Aberdeen-headquartered company picked up the top title at the fifth REA annual awards ceremony, which honours outstanding achievements in the British Renewable energy sector.
John Sinclair, managing director of Subocean, said: “This is a tremendous compliment for both myself and the entire team at Subocean whose dedication has seen us achieve remarkable success in such a short period."
"We are particularly proud of our track record in innovation and of our market-leading position which is a result of substantial investment in our assets for Subocean’s future and indeed that of the industry."
“There are an abundance of opportunities to be capitalised on in the renewable energy sector and these awards are a great ambassador for British organisations in the industry. I hope the success of the awards acts as a further wake-up call to the opportunities and drives consolidation of the UK’s expertise – to ensure we position ourselves at the forefront of developing a global sustainable future.”
