    Fugro signs contract for new geotechnical vessels

    Fugro NV in The Netherlands and Tebma Shipyards Limited in India have signed a shipbuilding contract for new geotechnical vessels.

    The vessels are DP2, approximately 82.9m long, with a breadth of 19.8m and have a deadweight of approximately 2,500 tonnes.

    The contract is for two firm orders plus two optional vessels for various subsidiaries of the Fugro Group.

    The first vessel is to be delivered by June 2012 and the second vessel in October 2012.
