Harvey Bisso Subsea completes first subsea projectProjects and Operations // April 23, 2010
Harvey Bisso Subsea's first project was undertaken from Harvey Discovery.
Harvey Bisso Subsea has successfully completed its first subsea project performing saturation diving work in 350ft of water at ATP Oil & Gas Corporation’s deepwater platform in Grand Isle block 115.
Harvey Bisso Subsea used Harvey Discovery, a DP2 certified multi-purpose support vessel outfitted with a 1,000ft (300m), portable 12-man SAT diving system, to perform the operation.
“This was the first of what will be many successful diving projects as we continue to expand the level of our subsea services,” said Tommy Gibilterra, vice president operations for Bisso Marine.
Harvey Bisso Subsea is a joint venture with Harvey Gulf International providing vessel support and Bisso Marine providing diving and subsea services.
