Stolt Offshore secures US$150 million contract in Nigeria Projects and Operations

Stolt Offshore has signed an interim agreement for the second phase of the Amenam project in Nigeria.
The contract, once finalised, is valued at approximately US$150 million. It calls for the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of a 640 tonne water injection platform with 550 tonne topsides at the Stolt Offshore Globestar fabrication yard at Warri in Nigeria. A 60km, 24in diameter gas export line will be installed together with a 2km 18in diameter pipeline that will link the new water injection platform to a process platform. The offshore installation programme will bein 2005.
