DOF does deals with Petrobras and Fugro
Contracts, Tenders and Rates - November 20, 2009
DOF has been awarded three new long term contracts with total firm duration of eight years. The total value of the contracts for the firm duration is approximatey NOK 365 million.
Skandi Stolmen has been awarded a contract with Petrobras. She will redeliver from her present term contract with Statoil at the end of November 2009. Commencement with Petrobras is expected to be the end of December 2009 or early January 2010.
Skandi Captain has also been awarded a contract with Petrobras. She is currently on a long term contract with Shell UK. She will commence the new Petrobras contract upon redelivery from Shell in 2010.
The third new contract is with Fugro. To meet the terms of this contract, DOF has reached an agreement with Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted to buy a MT 6009 L design, to be called Skandi Olympia. Skandi Olympia will commence its charter with Fugro early in March 2010.
