Solstad keeps two ships in the Med

Contracts, Tenders and Rates // March 19, 2004
Seabrokers reports that, with events in the North Sea remaining "fairly grim," Solstad has secured work to keep its UT712 anchor handlers Normand Jarl and Normand Drott working in the Mediterranean.

The vessels have recently been supporting Transocean's semi-sub Actinia whilst drilling off Tunisia.

Soon the rig will revert over to International Egyptian Oil Company (IEOC) for a two well programme and will take the two vessels with it.
