Ezra orders five ROVsVessel & ROV News // September 22, 2009
Ezra Holdings Limited has awarded Triton Group Holdings a US$23 million contract to build five new ROVs.
The five ROVs, to be delivered by the second quarter of 2010, will be deployed alongside the three new incoming subsea vessels. This will increase both the capability and capacity of Ezra's Deepwater Subsea Services Division by offering a comprehensive range of subsea services to the Group's clients.
Ezra's Managing Director, Lionel Lee, said: "With the burgeoning demand for deepwater subsea services, the addition of these ROVs again demonstrates our commitment to deliver integrated solutions across the value chain for our clients."
Under the contract, Triton will provide Ezra with ship interface engineering and installation services from its support base in Singapore from September through to delivery. When deployed, Ezra's ROV operations will be supported by Triton's network of service centres in Aberdeen, Houston, Brazil and Singapore.
