    Keel laid for Seven Pacific

    Vessel & ROV News // July 28, 2009

On 15 July 2009 the keel laying ceremony for Seven Pacific for Subsea 7 took place at IHC Merwede Offshore & Marine in Krimpen aan den IJssel, The Netherlands.

Seven Pacific is, after Seven Seas, Seven Oceans and Seven Atlantic, the fourth vessel in a row built for Subsea 7 by IHC Merwede.

A large 250-tonne knuckleboom crane enables the vessel to carry out offshore construction operations up to a depth of 3,000m, in addition to pipelay work.

The launch is planned for the first quarter of 2010 and delivery in the fourth quarter of 2010.
