    PT Newport Marine Services acquires Java Adventurer

    PT Newport Marine Services, (based in Jakarta, Indonesia) has acquired the utility vessel Java Adventurer from Jaya Offshore.

    On delivery of the vessel, PT Newport Marine Services is planning to change the vessel's name to NMS Conquest.

    The vessel can be used for chase-boating, diving, survey, towing of barges and other utility functions.

    It is capable of remaining at sea for 30 days without bunkering fuel or water, and has accommodation for five, a 10 ton winch for light towing/picking up debris. The vessel is able to achieve 11 knots in chaseboat duties and has a deck area of 99.6m2.

    Optional equipment includes a stern roller, 6 ton 'A' frame, 2 ton crane, and accommodation for 15.
