    Well intervention vessel launched at Ulstein Verft

    Ulstein Verft shipyard in Norway has launched Sarah, the first of two well intervention vessels for Marine Subsea.

    The vessel was on 29 April and has been in the dockyard since the middle of January 2009. Sarah is a modified ULSTEIN SX121 design.

    Marine Subsea currently has five vessels under construction. Sarah has a backstop contract with the Angolian state oil company, Sonangol.

    The naming ceremony for Sarah will take place on 4 July.
