    Man dies on DSV in North Sea

    BBC News Online reports that an offshore worker has died in an accident on a diving support vessel four miles off Aberdeen.

    The crewman on Well Servicer, operated by Technip, was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the accident.

    He was pronounced dead at the hospital later on Wednesday evening.

    Technip said the vessel had now returned to port and that an investigation into the fatality was under way.

    The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed.
