    Hyundai Heavy Industries to build FPSO for BP

    Fairplay (www.fairplay.co.uk) reports that Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries has secured a US$340 million FPSO contract from BP.

    The 360,000dwt FPSO will be installed at Plutonio in Angola and have a length of310m, breadth of 58m, depth of 32m, and is scheduled for delivery in January 2006.

    The FPSO will be able to store 2 million barrels and produce and handle 200,000 barrel per day.
