PSV Makalu due end of FebruaryVessel & ROV News // February 20, 2009
The PSV Makalu is due to be delivered to Garware Offshore by Havyard Leirvik shipyard by the end of February.
It is understood the UT-755LN vessel had been bid for work offshore India but was unable to make the timescale for the contract.
Makalu, which will be equipped with DP2 and a deck space of around 680mē, is now expected to join the North Sea spot market on delivery.
Meanwhile, the UT-755 LN designed Mana continues to work in the North Sea after a potential deal to sell the vessel did not go ahead. The DP1 vessel is currently working for BP until around the middle of February with 14 daily options thereafter.
