Fairley steps down at Trico Marine - new CEO sought News

Trico Marine Services in the US has announced that Thomas E Fairley stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer with effect from March 31st.After assisting the company through its restructuring and recent exit from Chapter 11, Mr Fairley informed the Board of his decision to leave the company.Mr Fairley has also left the Board of Directors of the Company as of the same date.The Board accepted Mr Fairley's resignation, thanking him for his many years of service to Trico and wishing him well for the future.The company announced that it has commenced a search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer. Candidates both inside and outside the company are being considered for the position.Joseph S Compofelice, Chairman of the Board, has been named as interim Chief Executive Officer until the search is completed and a new President and Chief Executive Officer is named. Mr Compofelice will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.
