Odebrecht Drilling signs contract with Fairmount
Contracts, Tenders and Rates - November 25, 2008
Odebrecht Drilling Services LLC in Brazil and Fairmount Marine have reached agreement for the towage of their newbuilding semi submersible drilling rig Norbe VI.
The SSDR is currently under construction in Abu Dhabi and will be delivered by the yard in the course of 2009.
Norbe VI will be towed by one of Fairmount’s tugs via the Cape of Good Hope to Brazil.
In Brazil, the rig will work on a charter of Petrobras.
