    Naming ceremony for Viking Poseidon held

    On November 14th the naming ceremony for Eidesvik's newbuild Viking Poseidon was held in Ulsteinvik, Norway.
    Viking Poseidon is an Offshore Construction Vessel designed by Ulstein Design amd has the company's now well known ULSTEIN X-BOW.

    Viking Poseidon will go on a long-term contract with Veolia ES Special Services Inc in the US.

    The contract is for eight years with options, and the ship will work with ROVs to inspect and repair offshore installations in the Gulf of Mexico.
