EB team strengthened for rapid growth

IHC Engineering Business Ltd (EB) has announced the promotion of three key staff following a review of the company structure.

Martin Bingham becomes Director of Technology, Andy Eaton, Director of Production and Andrew Stevenson, Director of Sales. They will take responsibility for their new activities with immediate effect.

Following the acquisition of EB earlier in the year by Dutch ship building and dredging specialists IHC Merwede, EB has based the company’s management structure on the two-tier Dutch model with Operational and Supervisory boards.

Toby Bailey, previously Sales and Marketing Director, has now moved to the position of Operations Director on the Supervisory Board together with Finance Director, John Young, and Managing Director and founder, Dr Tony Trapp.

The three other founding members, Dr Tim Grinsted, Mike Watchorn and Dr Steve Agar will remain fully active within the business supporting both Boards with their technical, engineering and commercial expertise.

The new Operations Board will include Scott Boyes, Engineering Manager and Jane Hudson, HR Manager.

Commenting on the recent changes, Dr Tony Trapp said “I am delighted that three long serving members of EB have been promoted to key positions. Their enthusiasm and determination, coupled with the long standing experience of the existing team, will strengthen the management of the company and allow EB to continue its ambitious growth plans, delivering innovative equipment for a range of offshore applications around the globe”.
