Submec Offshore turns to Perry Slingsby SystemsVessel & ROV News // August 12, 2008
Submec Offshore has awarded Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) a contract to supply Triton XLX 33 and 34 ROV systems.
The deal caps a successful month which has seen the Florida-based company land a string of contracts worth in excess of US$17 million.
The two 3,000m-rated systems include the latest in tooling and survey capabilities while featuring the PSS Integrated Controls Engine (ICE) realtime control system with state-of-the-art
Gb telemetry and graphical diagnostics.
Submec Offshore is based in Perth, Australia. It specializes in project support, operations and engineering with a focus on the Australia and SE Asia markets.
The TXLX systems will be employed on various deepwater construction projects following their delivery in November 2008.
