Cecon establishes R&D project on moorings for offshore wind/wave turbines

Cecon in Norway has been granted financial support from Innovasjon Norge for an R&D project related to mooring and installation of wind and wave turbines in deep water.
Said Cecon: "Demand for renewable energy is constantly growing, and Cecon acknowledge this as an interesting market in the years to come... Cecon, with its in-house knowledge from mooring of numerous offshore installations in deepwate, wants to utilize this knowledge to become a leading installation and service contractor for such applications."
