Ulstein benefits from Island Offshore

Aker Yards has announced that its subsidiary Aker Brevik has inked a contract with Island Offshore VIII KS in Ulsteinvik, Norway for a UT 755LN supply vessel.The hull for this ship will be built at Vyborg Shipyard in Russia, will arrive in Brevik in Augustand should be completed at the end of this year.
Island Offshore's other UT 755LN newbuild Island Pride, was delivered earlier this month by Aker Brevik and has begun a term charter with Total in the North Sea.
