    Vessel & ROV News // June 18, 2008

On June 8th, the directors and senior management of Polarcus attended the official plate cutting ceremony of Polarcus vessel NB67 at the Drydocks World - Dubai shipyard in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This formally commenced the construction of the second 3-D vessel in the Polarcus fleet.

The plate cutting ceremony of vessel NB66 was held on May 18th 2008.

"This is another major milestone for our company", commented Rolf Ronningen, CEO of Polarcus. "The project is gaining visible momentum every day now and we are confident in our ability to commence our first seismic operations on schedule later next year."

Vessel NB67 is the second of four ultra-modern 12 streamer 3-D vessels being built by Polarcus at Drydocks World - Dubai over the next two years.

The company is also building, in the same period, two multi-purpose 2-D/3-D/source vessels capable of towing up to six streamers.
