    Older ERRVs continue to be sold off

    Braemar Seascope Offshore reports that the 1974-built Dea Skipper has recently been sold to Middle Eastern interests, and the 1968-built stern trawler Viking Skye has been circulated
    for sale, which will ensure availability of UK-coded ERRVs working in the North Sea remains at a premium over the summer months.

    "The handful of newbuildings due for delivery in the remainder of 2008 all have long term work lined up from delivery these include the IMT955Ls VOS Pioneer and VOS Prospector, which are committed to Total for 5-10 years for support of the Alwyn/Dunbar fields in the UK Northern North Sea," the broker explained.
