Groupe Bourbon invests in thermal imaging gear

FLIR Systems in the US has announced that it has received a 60-unit order for its Navigator II thermal imaging camera from Groupe Bourbon.
The units delivered under the order will be used for navigation and safety purposes aboard Bourbon's fleet of offshore supply vessels.
This is FLIR's first sale into the commercial shipping industry.
"This order demonstrates the value of our systems for commercial maritime applications," said Earl R Lewis, President and CEO of FLIR Systems. "We are pleased Bourbon has chosen FLIR products for this important responsibility."
