Contracts, Tenders and Rates - April 30, 2008
SCAN Geophysical has confirmed receipt of a contract from Hess Libya Exploration Limited for approximately 4,000km of 2-D marine seismic work off Libya, to be acquired by the high-capacity 2-D seismic vessel Geo Searcher.
“We are extremely pleased that Hess chose to award SCAN this important work” said Kjell Karlsson, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for SCAN. “Geo Searcher is being mobilized from a previous work location off Pakistan where the vessel successfully completed a large 2-D programme for another super major oil company."
SCAN expects to begin the work in the next few days.
