ASL Marine Holdings Ltd has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ASL Shipyard Pte Ltd, has secured three new shipbuilding contracts worth a total of S$126 million from existing European customers for a 12,860kW self-propelled cutter suction dredger and two Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs).
All three vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2010. Including these new contracts, the Groupís shipbuilding order book is in excess of S$700 million.
The two ERRvs are a repeat order from an unspecified European customer, believed to be Esvagt.
The contract for the 12,860kW dredger was secured from a
long-term customer of the group, DEME in Belgium.
