Bourbon Oceanteam 101 is due to depart shortly for Angola.

Oceanteam Power & Umbilical reports that the construction support/installation vessel Bourbon Oceanteam 101 has been delivered and is due to depart for Angola in mid-February, where the vessel will start a three-year contract as field support vessel with BP Angola for its Greater Plutonio development in Block 18.

This vessel is the first of a standardized Oceanteam 100 series and jointly owned by Oceanteam and Bourbon Offshore, and provides a combination of good seakeeping, large cranes, moonpool, large free deck and good accommodation, and can be utilized as field support, construction, installation or IRM support vessel.

All of the '100 Series' vessels are being built in Vigo, Spain, at Metalships & Dock shipyard.
