Penny F is the third in a series of utility vessels for Supreme Services.
Supreme Services is expecting delivery of the third in a series of Frank Basile-designed utility vessels shortly.
All three vessels are from Richard Adams Sr and son Dickie Adams’ Lockport Fabrication.
The first, Bertha G, was delivered in March 2006 with a second, Warren Thomas, in early 2007. The third vessel, Penny F, will deliver in early 2008.
All three vessels are 166ft by 36ft and powered by a pair of Cummins KTA38-M0 main engines generating 850hp at 1,800rpm.
A pair of Cummins 6CTA8.3-powered generator sets provide electrical service. A single Cummins QSM11m powers the DP1-capable vessels’ retractable azimuthing bow thruster.
The vessels have accommodations for 14 people in addition to the crew. They have tankage for 170,000 gallons of fuel, 33,000 gallons of methanol and 2500 barrels of liquid mud.
They can carry 500 tons of cargo on 3,300 square feet of open deck space. The boats also have 24in moonpools.
