BOS wins contract for NPD

Bergen Oilfield Services (BOS) has been awarded a contract to acquire marine seismic 2-D and 3-D data during 2008 for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).
The contract covers different sites, with BOS undertaking both 2-D and 3-D acquisition using its new vessels BOS Atlantic and BOS Arctic.
Karstein Rød, BOS CEO said he looked forward to working with NPD on these projects. “We are delighted to be working with NPD and will utilise this opportunity to showcase our expertise both to NPD and the greater seismic survey industry,” he said.
The surveys are expected to be completed by October 2008.
