Deepwater elite gather for industry forumNews // March 18, 2005
In what has become one of the premier strategic events in the E&P industry's calendar, speakers and delegates will travel from all over the world to meet at Deepwater International 2005.
The theme for this year's forum on Friday, April 8th is 'Commercialising The Ultra-Deep Frontier', which will highlight and analyse the strategies employed and the opportunities created by the oil industry and its stakeholders as the move into ultra-deepwater territory picks up pace.
This interactive forum and networking event will feature individuals from the highest echelons of the deepwater market. Delegates will hear "straight from the horse's mouth" about the latest strategies, projects and technologies being employed in the keyregions of West Africa, Brazil, Gulf of Mexico, Southeast Asia and North Africa.
Speaking are some of the world's biggest deepwater players: Shell, BP and ChevronTexaco, as well as highly influential state-owned majors and industry stakeholders such as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, and the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) and Petrobras of Brazil. Emerging SE Asian player Santos will also participate, as well as several contractors delivering some of the innovative technologies required, including AkerKvaerner, INTEC Engineering and Nautronix.
The event will take place at London's exclusive Hilton Hotel in Park Lane.
