Offshore and seismic work for A&P

    Yard News // June 22, 2007

A&P ship repair group in the UK reports that it has considerably built up its seismic ship expertise recently with the completion of two upgrades for WesternGeco and CGG respectively.

In the offshore market, fabrication work has started for modules to be fitted to the offshore construction vessel Normand 7, which is due in the yard in July for fitting and commissioning of
    the modules.

The modules and associated equipment will be well in excess of 1,000 tonnes, and will enable the ship to work as a pipelayer.
