    Halul orders safety standby vessels

    Halul Offshore Services (HOSC), the Qatari support services company has signed a contract with a Singaporean shipbuilder for construction of four safety standby vessels at a cost of approximately US$16 million.

    The ships will be classed by ABS and built by Pacific Ocean Engineering Pvt Ltd, Singapore, at their Shipyard in Wuxi, China.

    Halul said the building time is approximately 16 months.
