In sympathy with the families, friends and relatives of the victims of the Bourbon Dolphin accident, the entire Bourbon fleet worldwide flew the company flag at half-mast on Thursday 19th April.
In order that Bourbon staff could collectively pay their last respects to the victims, two minutes silence was observed at 12.00 GMT (14.00 French local time), in Bourbon offices and on board Bourbon vessels.
A memorial service for the victims of the incident will be held at a later date in Norway, at which a delegation of Bourbon seamen and staff will participate.
The memorial service will be held after the funerals of those who died have taken place.
An inquiry by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate is be held in the aftermath of the accident will begin its hearings shortly.
"It should enable us to understand how the accident happened," said Bourbon.
An independent Special Governmental Commission will also be set up by the Norwegian government to determine the causes of the accident.
