    Bourbon Dolphin sinks during salvage operation

    Bourbon Offshore has issued a statement in which it says that, during the salvage operation on Bourbon Dolphin by Smit Salvage, and in deteriorating weather conditions, the ship sunk, and is now lying at 3,600ft (1,100m).

    Bourbon said it will release any new information as soon as it is available.
