Top names to present papers at OSJ Annual Conference in MarchNews // January 15, 2007
Many well known names in the support vessel industry have already agreed to present papers at the Offshore Support Journal (OSJ) Annual Conference 2007, which takes place 13th & 14th March 2007 at the Marriott Regents Park Hotel, London, UK.
Rolls-Royce Marine will present three papers, including one by chief designer, Svein Kleven.
Guido Perla of Seattle, US-based naval architects Guido Perla & Associates will present a paper on the company's innovative diesel electric PSVs, which have been adopted by well known operators such as Bourbon Offshore and Rigdon Marine.
Jaap Gelling of Damen in The Netherlands will present a paper on the Axe Bow hull concept for Fast Crew Supply vessels, whilst presenters from ODIM in Norway will present on the company's safe anchor handling concepts.
PG Marine's Roy Norum will describe the revolutionary PG MACS multi-purpose cargo handling system that his company has developed, and Sealion Shipping's Ian Perrott will describe Toisa's new dive support vessels.
Guidance Navigation's Keith Phillips will present new DP technology, and Ulstein Verft's Tore Ulstein will describe new OSV concepts.
Barry Young, of respected analysts ODS-Petrodata will also present, as will David Blencowe of Maersk Supply Service, Hugh Williams of the International Marine Contractor's Association (IMCA), and Trond Myklebust of Bourbon Offshore.
Vacon's Kimmo Weissenberg will describe the company's innovative drives for OSVs.
