BP Awards contract for well intervention services to Island Offshore

Island Offshore has been awarded a contract by BP for provision of complete Riser Less Well Intervention (RLWI) services for the North Sea, including West of Shetlands.

The contract duration is for three years with two one year options and guarantees 90 working days per year with an option to extend the yearly work schedule an additional 50 days.

This contract provides the basic employment of Island Constructor on the UK side of the North Sea.

Under the contract, Island Offshore will work together with FMC Technologies and Aker Kværner Well Service.
