Vik-Sandvik confirms details of Troms Offshore designVessel & ROV News // December 12, 2006
Norwegian naval architect and support vessel designer Vik-Sandvik has confirmed that it has been contracted to design a new vessel that Kleven Verft in Norway will build for Troms Offshore.
The vessel is a Multifunctional Platform Supply Vessel (MPSV) of the VS 495 DEM CD Mk II design, and is the first vessel for Troms Offshore at Kleven Verft.
The vessel is 95.3m long, with a beam of 21.0m, and has a large cargo capacity below deck, a working deck of 1,030m2 and accommodation for 60.
The vessel is to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009.
