    Vessel & ROV News // November 7, 2006

Bouron Mistral is the world's first PSV with the X Bow hullform.

On October 28th, the first two PSVs with the ULSTEIN X-BOW hullform were named at Ulstein Verft.

Bourbon Offshore Norway ordered the vessels, which are already engaged in long-term charters for BP Norway.

These first two ULSTEIN PX105 vessels will start work under long-term contracts for BP Norway. Both vessels were named by BP Norway's CEO Gro Kielland.

Yard number 275, Bourbon Mistral, was due to start on a five year contract with BP Norway shortly after the naming ceremony. Her sister vessel, yard number 276, Bourbon Monsoon, is contracted for delivery in February 2007. She will start on a 10 year contract for BP Norway.
