First AH 03 design AHTS delivered

    Vessel & ROV News // January 21, 2005
Mid-December saw Tidewater unveil its latest anchor handler, Platt Tide, an AH 03 design developed by Aker Yards Project, which is an exact sister to the recent delivery Donnelly Tide.

The length of the newbuilding is 65.20m., breadth is 16m and the vessel has accommodation capacity for 24 persons.

As has become almost standard procedure, noted Seabrokers, the hull was built by Aker Tulcea, and arrived Brattvaag Skipsverft in mid September for outfitting.

The vessel has since departed the North Sea en route to the Congo to begin a long-term charter with ChevronTexaco.
