Oceanteam Power & Umbilical has provided further details of the third construction support and flexible product installation vessel it has ordered, and released an image of the vessel.

The vessel will be delivered third quarter 2008 and has similar specifications as North Ocean 102 which will be delivered in the first quarter of 2008.

The vessel ordered will be 137m long with a breadth of 27m, with more than 2,400m˛ of free deck, a deadweight of 10,000 tonnes, and two 100 tonne cranes installed.

North Ocean 103 will be constructed at the Metal Ships & Docks yard in Vigo, Spain.

Key markets are offshore renewables, subsea power distribution and the petroleum industry.
