BP's Jigsaw plan unlikely to be operational this yearNews // September 11, 2006
Broker Seascope offshore says BP’s third Regional Support Vessel (RSV), Caledonian Vigilance (IMT992) recently arrived in the region from the Far East but will initially be utilised in supply
mode alongside the first two in the series – Caledonian Vanguard and Caledonian Vision.
The final vessel in the series – Caledonian Victory – is due to be delivered from Yantai Raffles shipyard in China (and then completed in Singapore) towards the end of this year.
Said the broker: "All four vessels, which are being managed by Seaguard Offshore, will eventually form an integral part of Project Jigsaw although it would seem that this radical new rescue and recovery plan will not be operational this year."
