North Sea market remains "extremely tight" tight says brokerNews // September 6, 2006
Offshore Shipbrokers Ltd (OSL) in the UK says the market in the North Sea "remains extremely tight" with virtually no available tonnage until the latter part of this week.
In its daily report on the market issued September 5th, OSL said Atlantic Kingfisher is the only available vessel, however she has a redelivery restriction of September 9th in Rotterdam.
"A number of fresh requirements remain outstanding and given the lack of tonnage we expect things to remain tight for the remainder of this week at least," said OSL.
Latest rates saw an AHTS fixing over the weekend at circa £120,000 and a PSV fetching £38,000 for a cargo run.
