Rolls-Royce upgrades thrusters

Rolls-Royce has upgraded its tunnel thrusters for DP operations.
Rolls-Royce in Norway has announced that its tunnel thruster range has been upgraded to meet the needs of offshore vessels operating in dynamic positioning (DP) mode for long periods.
The company said that as well as applying to new units, the upgrades can also be made to units in service when they require scheduled overhaul work.
