More equipment orders for PG MarineEquipment & Technology // March 24, 2006
PG Marine in Norway has received a number of important orders in recent weeks, including a large order for newbuildings for Groupe Bourbon newbuilds.
The company has been awarded contracts to supply liquid cargo handling systems for a series of 10 GPA654 PSVs and 26 GPA254 anchor handlers under construction at SinoPacific's Dayang shipyard in China. Deliveries will commence in the second quarter of 2006, running through 2010.
PG Marine will also supply equipment to Astilleros Balenciaga shipyard in Spain, which is building a PSV for North Star Shipping, part of the Craig Group in the UK.
The order is the first ever for the company from Astilleros Balenciaga and is for liquid mud handling systems with further optional contracts.
