    Harvey Gulf orders again

    Harvey Gulf International Marine in Louisiana in the US is reported to have embarked on a new round of investment in newbuilds.

    Sources in the US say the company plans to spend more than US$200 million on new ships, and has under construction at Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Florida, three 280ft supply vessels, a 16,500bhp AHTS, and a 265ft dive support and well intervention ship.
