North American Fabricators delivers Chouest supply vessel

North American Fabricators in the US has delivered the PSV Kobe Chouest to its parent Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO).

The new PSV has tankage for 294,361 gallons of fuel oil, 15,644 barrels of liquid mud; 77,122 gallons of methanol; and 32,690 gallons of potable water.Kobe Chouest also has 11,440 cubic feet of dry bulk capacity, and a large cargo deck.

The vessel is fitted with twin Caterpillar 3608 diesels, producing 3,600hp at 1,000rpm each, connected to CPP thrusters to provide a speed of up to 15 knots.
