TGS-NOPEC starts new 2-D survey in Celtic Sea offshore Ireland

TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company (TGS) has commenced acquisition of a new multi-client 2D survey offshore Ireland.
The 1,500km survey is located in the Saint George’s Channel Basin and is designed to better resolve the Pegasus and Dragon structural trends in the area.
Acquisition is being conducted in partnership with Fugro-Geoteam utilizing Northern Explorer with a streamer length of 8,000m.
The well prefunded survey is being processed by TGS Imaging and is scheduled to be available during the first quarter of 2006.
