Rem Maritime orders another new vessel at Kleven MaritimeVessel & ROV News // August 22, 2005
Kleven Verft in Ulsteinvik, Norway has signed a contract with Norwegian owner Rem Maritime for delivery of a new MPSV.
The vessel is a MT 6016, this being the second MT 6016 ordered by Rem Maritime from the yard.
The vessel will be 92.95m long and with a breadth of 19.70m, and will have extensive cargo capacity in tanks and a cargo deck space of 1,050m2.
The vessel is due for delivery in September 2006, and the owner, which already has a seismic vessel Geo Angler, also has under construction a MT 6000 Mk II and the other MT 6016 mentioned above at Kleven Verft, for delivery in January and May 2006, and a UT 755 at another yard.
